About

I’m a creative problem solver with 10 + years of Product Management experience. I love surrounding myself with smart, passionate people, working with complex systems, and connecting dots where others don’t see connections.  I’m inspired by science fiction, nature, elegant user experience design, and novel applications of cutting edge technology.

My favorite type of problem to solve is one that empowers people to make difficult decisions, when there’s competing information. Well represented design and data can bring transparency to opaque systems.

I have a BS in Chemical Engineering and MS in Engineering Management from Johns Hopkins University where I learned how to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and how to work in teams with engineers. I was a member of the Men’s Tennis Team.

I also have an MBA and MS, Design Innovation from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where I honed my perspective on how human centered design and new venture creation complement each other.

I’m married, have an infant son, and two cats. When I’m not working you can find me on the tennis court, trying to relive my glory days as a competitive tennis player.
